This young lady had a lot of things she would like to improve – the main one was the crown on her front tooth UR1, along with the alignment issues. However there were a lot of complexities to consider. The crown on the front tooth could not be replaced to improve the appearance because the position of the lower teeth prohibited it. So when we looked at the options, we decided that we would aim for an overall improvement to the smile, so the aim was to correct the alignment, whiten and replace the restorations on the front teeth to give a match to the new whiter shade.
The teeth were first straightened with Invisalign. Once they were aligned we whitened to the desired shade so we could finally replace the crown, and the filling on the neighboring front tooth to match.
There are still are few finishing refinements to produce the final alignment before a final update for this rewarding case.
