This case presented the challenge of repairing the wear and producing a straighter, more even smile. However also the discolouration on the front teeth was of concern – so we were always going to need to place some restorations.
The final restorations were placed as direct composite restorations, these means that preparation on the teeth was kept to an absolute minimum… and we were able to finish the treatment in a single session ‘extreme makeover’ style!
Veneers would be an alternative but would have required much more damage to the existing teeth and would give less predictable results in covering the extensive discolouration that was present.
